One day she had a gazillion shows on HGTV and the next-- poof! I really liked her surprise design show even though I thought she got just a teeny bit extreme. I also liked that her designer divaness was right up front. There was no doubt who ran her show. But alas, now she’s gone. At least I still have my Candi Olsen. I lurve me some giantess design. ---

She is the executive producer of a lot of shows on HGTV. Plus she has had a couple of seasons of “From the Ground Up” with intern wanna-bes. I always liked Debbie. I also liked Lynnette Jennings. ---

Ah, she’s now the boss of everybody. Sounds about right. I barely remember Jennings. Wasn’t she more of a dyi renovator than a designer? ---

IIRC she wasn’t the sort to get down or dirty, just tell you how to make your home look fabulous using swatches and paint chips. ---

Debbie Travis seems to be on Fine Living (I think, or maybe DIY?) more now…whichever channel it is, we only get it on free previews so I don’t see her as much. ---

I’ve always thought Debbie Travis was a ridicuously good-looking woman for her age … just learned today that she was formerly a model. I am assuming some relatively subtle work’s been done on her face, but still. ---

I just loved how she would be running around with curlers in on the brink of the mark coming home on various surprise episodes.
