# Whatever happened to the different CDR dyes/colors?

Back in the day, CD-R’s came in different colors, and I remember at least one package was labeled “Blue Azo” or something like that. I remember using distinctly green CD-R’s back in the day. Nowadays, CD-R’s are mostly that blah-ish yellow. It has been years since I saw a green or blue CD-R available.

Did the industry standardize on one dye?
