# What's a decent cheap tablet computer?

I want a tablet that I can use to remotely connect to my desktop PC. It should do the following:
1. Connect to a satellite network. Preferably AT&T, since I already have a data plan with them for my phone.
2. Support a small keyboard.
What’s the cheapest tablet available that can do both these things?

I love my Surface. It has a USB port, which is crucial for me. I bought a reconditioned one on Amazon for under $200. I had a keyboard from an old HP tablet that died, so I didn’t buy the keyboard/cover. It makes for a bulkier package, but for my use at work (where our only computers are the register and a non-internet connected PC that runs the equipment we use…update files come to us on floppies, but I’ve arranged to get those files emailed to me and I use the USB to transfer them from the tablet to the PC) it is just fine. Unlike my Chromebook, I can get Skype on it, so that and the USB made it a no-brainer.
