# What's a reputable "sponsor a child" charity?

why don’t you just do it by yourself. like sending the money directly to the school where the child you are sponsoring studies. though organizations like world vision are genuine, some branches have people who are so corrupt. i am a product of donor funding and i can say i never had the chance to meet my sponsor. i was kicked out of the sponsorship scheme by the employees after i requested to write to my sponsor directly. they always edit the letters after they are written and i don’t think that’s fair. those children know how to write good English. i learnt how to write when i was class 3. anyway this is just my opinion.

That’s pretty cool (except the last part.) Where are you from? How long were you sponsored for?
