What's a 'small plane'?

Oh Shit.

This reminds me of the description of how a plane flies that I remember hearing once.

The ego of the pilot keeps the plane in the air. The propeller and engine serve only as a fan to help the pilot remain cool from the strain of keeping the plane in the air. If you don’t believe this - just watch how quickly and profusely the pilot begins to sweat if the fan is turned off. :wink:

I consider Lear Jets and Gulfstreams to be “small”. Basically anything the size of a commuter jet puddle jumper or smaller is “small”.

I’m still trying to figure out how anyone could consider a DC-3 a “small plane.”
