Yesterday a client offered to fly me up to his fishing camp for a weekend next summer. So that got me thinking that if you actually like your lawyer as a person, and if you can keep from discussing the matter for which you retained him, perhaps a more personal tip might be nice – a lunch together at a decent restaurant, for example, or going out to dinner or the theatre with your spouses. ---
