Why is ‘abbreviation’ such a long word?
Why is there only one Monopolies Commission?
Why is the word ‘Dictionary’ in the dictionary?

Do your own stuff, not Carlin’s, OK **Flip-Disc**?

Steven Wright, not George Carlin. Most of the “questions only idiots ask” list are either cribbed from Wright or Gallagher. The pure word trick ones are usually Gallagher (how come we call them apartments when they’re all stuck together?). This kind of odd perception of internal inconsistency is the hallmark of Steven Wright.

I got this in an email and I’ve been thinking about it for a week.
