Filet Mignon and Crab legs.
Mrs Squeegee and I started this about 12 years ago. We’re both from the Midwest (IL) & moved to CA together shortly after meeting. Our first Christmas together, I decided it’d be cool to barbeque some steaks on Christmas day, because we can!!!
MrsSq wanted her favorite, crab legs, as well, that first time. So this became our tradition.
And it’s pretty darned EZ to prepare. Turkey? Exuuse me?

Ham AND turkey (my dad make the best stuffing in the world!), and roast potatoes and pumpkin and sweet potato and parsnip and cauliflower cheese and beans and my Nanna’s mushy peas and salad and bread. Then christmas pudding (complete with sixpences to find), and christmas cake, and chocolate truffles and gingerbread cookies and fruit mince pies and rumballs and shortbread cookies and and and and…
All in 35-degree heat (that’s celcius, folks!). We sometimes go down the beach after lunch… if we can still move.
