# What's going on in Comments on Cecil's Columns?

I just stopped by the Comments on Cecil’s Columns forum and noticed on page one a whole slew of threads that haven’t been posted to in over a year and a half. How do these relics (I say “relic” with all due respect, as some of them include posts by Uncle Cecil himself) get bumped to page one without a new reply? Is something wacky going on with the search function that causes threads to appear if they have been searched out but not posted to?

For a minute there, I thought Cecil had decided to fire up the computer in his Fortress of Solitude and grace us with a barrage of posts. Oh well, a Doper can always dream…
