I haven’t bought a CD in years. Last thing I bought from iTunes was the new single from The Killers, “Shadowplay”. It’s okay-ish. Most recent full albums bought have been Sylvie Lewis, _Tangos and Tantrums_ and _Translations_; Loudon Wainwraight III, _Strange Weirdos: Music From And Inspired By The Film Knocked Up_; Indigo Girls, _Despite Our Differences_; Mavis Staples, _We’ll Never Turn Back_; and Chris Thomas King, _Rise_. > [@garygnu](#): > > I still have a CD player in our spare bedroom. I don’t remember when I was last listening to it, but it has Tree by Gaelic Storm in it. I was listening to “Begger Man” the other day! 🙂 Chris Thomas King singing “St. James Infirmary” just shuffled up on the iPod. ---

I can’t actually remember the last time I listened to a CD, but on my iPod right now it’s _Cosi Fan Tutte_ over and over. I’m seeing the thing live on Friday and for some reason I’ve apparently decided to listen to it to the point where I’m sick of it before I get that far. Go figure. ---

In my CD player at the office, it’s the 1991 London Original Cast Recording of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (one of the few Lloyd Weber shows I will listen to.) In the car, it’s the 2006 Original Cast Recording of Spring Awakening. Not sure what’s at home in the computer, as I’m currently in the process of transferring all of my CDs to the computer. I _think_ the last one I did was 10,000 Maniacs Unplugged. ---
