In my little purse that I use every day, I have: A dollar bill A tiny pack of aloe vera moisturizing gel My driver’s license My credit card My sister’s Speedway Speedy Rewards card A receipt from Wildberry (restaurant) A receipt from Shell (gas station) A Post-It note with the days available for vacation at work in August, September and October My AAA card My sister’s Domick’s Fresh Values card My co-worker’s business cared A receipt from Clar (gas station) Pink card with the # to call in sick to work My Jewel-Osco Preferred Customer card ATM receipt A list of WW Points values for various Jimmy John’s sandwiches My ATM/debit card Another Shell receipt Another ATM receipt A Jolly Rancher lollipop A ten dollar bill Two five dollar bills A nail clipper A pen Lots of loose change I just decided I’m not going through the other purse. It’s bigger and has more crap in it. ---

Since I’ve gone back to school, I haven’t been using my purse as much. However, it still contains: LipShox Lipgloss in “Pink Zing” A skinny sharpie highlighter A mechanical pencil A key to the candy machine in my apartment My flute A gyroscope and stand in a plastic baggie A small McDonalds toy plushie of Jack Sparrow A black pen A lavender sharpie Kleenex Deck of cards Travel-size dental floss A Subway Scrabble letter M Gingerbread flavored lip balm Tide pen A quarter Captain Black’s Grog Flavored Pirate mints A paperclip A sunglasses case which contains: A pair of sunglasses with one lens popped out A loose sunglasses lens A good pair of sunglasses A gold-colored ring with a blue stone from Tokens and Tickets relating to my alter-ego as a Seduction Ranger A pair of black hoop earrings Three LED blinky lights that can be worn as earrings A sample tube of Blackberry Amber perfume A button with a picture of Kiera Knightley as Elizabeth Swan on it A penny Three business cards A wristband from a fourth of July roof party I went to A stormtrooper action figure colored blue with sharpie and with one foot bent to the side. His name is Harold and he is my good luck charm. And last but not least! My wallet. The only interesting things in it are a small screwdriver and a skull and crossbones ring. No purse. My little card case carries license, heath ins card, AAA card, credit card, a little cash. I don’t wear makeup or refix my hair so I don’t need any of that stuff. I did carry a bag at the fair the other day which held water and snacks, but that’s unusual. ---

I’d like to travel lighter, but every time I’ve tried lately, I’ve missed something I usually carry. Right now I have: Wallet with umpteen insurance, store, credit and other cards. Work ID (It’s heavy, so I don’t wear it around my neck unless I have to.) Reading glasses Sunglasses Pill case with various supplements I take Blistex Kleenex Office keys, car keys, house keys Front gate opener Indispensable address book Phone Ear piece (Thanks a lot Ahnold). Bandaids Handcream “Feminine protection” Pens Teeny tine pocketknife And whatever receipts and other bits of paper I’ve collected over the last few days. ---

It’s been so long since I touched it. I think it has a hairbrush, some dental floss, and some loose change. I own one just in case I ever really need to carry one. My wallet, keys, and cell phone are in my pockets. I carry a book bag to work and back for books and papers. Sometimes that has a pen or sodas or my lunch. Unfortunately, at the moment what it contains is the remains of the banana that I forgot was in there and piled a 3-ring binder on top of. Which reminds me, I need to clean that up before I head home. ---
