# What's In Your Rock 'n Roll Zoo?

Recently we had a lot of fun with the virtual zoo, and with various Rock song aspects, so I wondered what sort of animals we’d find in a Rock 'n Roll Zoo. For purposes of discussion, we’ll take any title or animal mentioned in any song to make the Billboard Hot 100 from 1955 to date.
Among the exhibits I’d find would be
**Rockin’ Robin**
**Rocky Raccoon**
and of course a

Absolutely! In fact, I was going to come in this morning and suggest this with just a fraction of your list, which is awesome.
My only additions (so far) are fairly obscure
**B. Bumble and the Stingers** whose "Bumble Boogie made it to #21 nearly 40 years ago in May, 1961
\*\*The Henhouse Five Plus Two \*\* a Ray Stevens one-off that produced a #40 version of “In the Mood” in January of 1977
**Dr. Buzzard’s Original “Savannah” Band** which coincidently also peaked in January 1977 at #27 with a medly of “Whispering/Cherchez La Femme/C’est Si Bon.” Must have been a rough winter.
**Bulldog** a one-partial-hit group, whose “No” peaked at #44 in December of 1972
\*\*Bull and the Matadors \*\* who gave us the #39 “The Funky Judge” in November of 1968.
BTW, I remember the first three, but wouldn’t even have heard of the latter two if it weren’t for my handy reference books. Anyone out there have any info on them?
