On my person right now, I have $1.25, in the form of a one dollar bill in my wallet and a quarter in my pocket. Also in my wallet, I have a fushia plastic sword that held fruit together in a mixed drink. It’s probably more useful than my dollar. ---

All I carry in my wallet is bills. Today is the day after my day off and the day before payday and I already bought lunch, so right now I have a ten and three ones. I probably have more in change in the bottom of my purse, but I’m not counting it. ---

I have $8. 20 years ago, I used to keep a lot more money in my wallet (typically about $80 to $100) but I’ve noticed that ever since I got married money just disappears from my wallet, and the more money I leave in there the more disappears. Funny how that happens. Must be nocturnal gnomes or something. Maybe they finally figured out what step 2 is. Also in my wallet: driver’s license health insurance card business cards library card (looks kinda ratty too - I should probably get a new one soon) video store membership card corporate credit card personal credit card bank card RFID card to open the door at work a couple of ATM receipts that I did not put in there (must be the gnomes again) ---

(drawings held in October) 3 ATM receipts (1) Dr Appointment card (3) emergency numbers cards (1) £5 Irish banknote (the one with the face of Catherine McAuley, a nun, on it in brown ink. Yes, I know its Worthless… ) [Hey, I use a money clip anyway] 1 Costco card 1 Visa & 2 Mastercards with an emergency Visa stuck in the back 1 ATM card 1 Blockbuster card 1 Broker’s business card 2 business cards from general contractors who do really good work My B-I-L’s business card My car salesman’s card The card of my last Physical Therapy place Drivers license and 3 registrations SS card FID card 5 pictures of my kids, 1 of my wife Card from my Ins Co of ‘who to call’ in case of an accident AAA card Prescription card BCBS card Visioncare card * * * In my defense, the ATM reciepts and the car salesman’s cards will come in handy some day. There’s always a stall somewhere w/o TP, and when you’re sitting there and realize that, its nice to know you can say, “$2 ATM fee? To get My Own Money…? Ha…! No money. A QFC card. A Safeway card. A Subway card. My debit card. One credit card. An appointment notice from my eye doctor. Sept. 26, 2:30pm. My Green Card. My EAC. My laminated birth certificate. A receipt from Karma Coffee. A note that reads: “Miru, Wendy says to write a check to Michelle’s husband for $80 when he comes in. ~Stasia”. Fat lot of good that note does anyone. It’s from me and it’s in my wallet. She got the message, but how did the note wind up in my wallet? Sigh. My wallet is green with grey trim, and has pictures of Mashi Maro on plastic panels on the front. I bought it at a dollar store 4-5 years ago and I just never thought to look for a new one. It’s held together better than any other wallet I’ve ever owned. _Damn_, Marshmallow. ---

I don’t use a wallet and rarely carry cash. On my desk is a pile of coins and small bills. At a rough guess, I’d say they add up to about SEK 200, which comes out to roughly $30. What I do carry is a cardholder containing a credit card, a debit card, an ID, my library card and my office keycard.
