# What's life like in Richmond, VA?

I’m applying for a job in Richmond. What’s it like up there? I haven’t spent much time there, mostly just passing through on my way to somewhere else. Is it a good place to live? Is the cost of living reasonable? And could I find a decent place to live on $36,000 a year?

So, tell me everything about Richmond! What’s good? What’s bad? Do I really want to live there? I really like where I live now, but my job options are limited, and I need to go where the jobs are.
