Hello Everyone, I’m a Duckett for raw cookie dough. I usually by a roll of Pilsbury sugar cookie dough and go to town. Is the dough more fattening than a cooked cookie or would it be the same? ---

Aside from the issue of the caloric intake, there may be some risk of salmonella if the dough contains raw, unpasteurized eggs. ---

Very technically, the baked cookies with have slightly more calories per ounce. Some water (calorie free) will evaporate during baking. But the difference is negligible, and if you’re eating the whole tube at once, the calories will be the same baked or unbaked. ---

Thanks Colbri. Also I don’t eat the whole roll in a sitting. Just a few slices at a time, really about the only sweets I really eat. Put the roll in the freezer and it makes a great treat! ---
