My keychain is beautiful in its simplicity. Besides my keys (all of which are solid metal, no colored plastics at all), I have a pair of surgical plates dating back to a broken arm in high school. The result is a compact, no frills, very simple looking item. I also had a leatherman micra on it for a while (same color as the rest), but it wore out over time. My new leatherman is bright orange, and too big to fit comfortably on a keychain, besides. What’s on your keychain? ---

I have only one key for the car. My truck has all the keys for my house, work and any other key I need. I don’t keep them woth me much. I simply cannot stand dangling shit hiting my legs when I drive. My wife has hers loaded down with crap, just plain crap. It gts on my nerves to drive her van. My sisters key chain must weigh a ton…I say enough is enough… I do, however, have a gi joe navy seal diver, which is a key chain, hanging from my passenger side visor…that cool…if I do say so myseklf… ---

Keys. A miniature LL Bean Swiss Army knife. A small bottle opener. Comes in unbelievably handy at parties. I keep my car keys on a separate ring, which only has the remote car alarm/door unlocker switch. ---

What does it mean when you’ve got more crap than keys on your keychain? I’ve got two keys and three saver cards (Food City, Food Lion and Rite Aid and I can’t even use the Rite Aid one anymore!), an AmeriCorps silver metal keychain (it makes a racket when my keys bang against it) and Badtz Maru and Chococat (Hello Kitty characters). ---

I have medallions from two charities I support, the Starlight Foundation and NSW Animal Welfare League, several keys for the different exterior doors to my house, a key for my garage, a key for my letterbox, a key for my front gate, a key for my business premises, and keys for the cupboards etc. there. ---

Nifty brass key holder with two seperate rings. One end holds car key, office building key, my office key and my house key. Other end, DH’s truck key, and key to my mothers and a grocer discount swipey card. Do you know if you type the word “key” often enough, it begins to look like it’s spelled wrong and you have to scroll up and read the other posts to reassure yourself that you spelled it correctly?
