I’ve heard from several sources that this is the most entertaining of all the SDMB forums. Why? Edit: please link to a few examples of BBQ pit threads that show off what the BBQp is all about. ---

Because insult humour is a very basic comedic trope. On occasion, our resident Pitizens are actually clever in their denunciations. Also, folks like to say “fuck” a lot to get a reaction. ---

Years ago I left my computer on with the Dope up. When I found my teenage son checking it out he was in the Pit. I asked him what he though and he replied dismissively, “Reads like youtube comments written by graduates.” ---

The only reason any of us post here is to try and sneak the word cunt into our replies to other posters as sneakily as possible. So far I’ve figured out the algorithms of Vinyl Turnip and Shodan, but I’m still working out Elucidator’s. ---
