# What's the alternative to Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations?

[Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations](http://store.steampowered.com/app/321410/) looks like a fascinating heir to the Harpoon series of games, but there are two huge strikes against it: the price tag is outrageous ($80 for a game is a lot, to say the least) and I’m a Mac user, so I’d have to run it in Bootcamp or Parallels.

Does anyone know of a good alternative? Naval strategy game, possibly operational-level, anything from WWII to Modern Era?

[Naval War: Arctic Circle](http://store.steampowered.com/app/200050/) looks reasonably priced, although I’ve heard bad things, and would still need to run it in Parallels.

Is there anything else even remotely similar out there?
