# Whats the average age of us dopers

After reading a thread showing that countless people had read thousands of books, I am very curious as to just how old everyone is on here? Being only 20, I feel very young on these boards.

I think you’ll find that nearly all of us have been alive since we were born. A few claim to be zombies or vampires, and I don’t know if **Cthulu’s** age can be calculated. The last time or two this question has come up, it seemed the largest group of answers clustered in the twenties.
I’m 56, and I know I’m not the oldest Doper.
By the way, **Trust,** this thread will probably be deemed a survey and whisked off to IMHO.

I’m 29. I’m not sure, but I think a few years ago the average was mid-30’s and it’s now dropped to late 20’s… or maybe I just felt younger than everyone because I was younger, and now I’ve caught up 😃

Another 56-year-old here. I’ve read a lot of posts from young and middle-aged, not so many from older than me, so I’m going to guess mid-30’s.
