You are all wrong. Yahoo’s servers are slow compared to others. So is hotmail’s. They have millions of users logged in at any given time. Hotmail has very little space, no customization, and slow. Yahoo has uncontrollable spam problems, slow, and not very many options, but the space you get is nice. I LOVE smaller services because they have the fastest servers. There are few people logged in to bog down the servers. At first I used mailcity.com, but they were taken over by Lycos, became slow and crappy. So now I use http://www.mailportal.net. It’s free, you get 6 Megs, vacation reply, signature, POP3 and whatnot, plus it’s not run by huge companies with millions of people to lag the system. I would pay to use mailportal. It’s that good. GREAT spam controls too. Plus, there is no limit to how many people you can send e-mail to a day like some others, and there is no limit to how many people you can send 1 e-mail too like others do to “control spamming”. AWESOME mail. Everyone should try it. Seriously. Well actually, no. Then you have millions of people lagging the server. So, non-comformists should try it. People only think Yahoo and Hotmail are the bests because they have weak minds and follow like sheep. Get a clue people. They suck. Try something else for a change.
I use Yahoo a lot and don’t like it too much. I get so much spam it’s almost not worth it. I find it better than anything from mail.com, which is slow, excite.com, which is down for maitenance a lot (too much for me, anyway), and Hotmail.
I now have an address at Yahoo Sweden, so if I do get spam, at least it will look funny and I’ll have no idea what it is.
I’m very satisfied with hotmail.
i recommend yahoo. there are a lot of other associated features which are very cool…
Only had a problem once with hotmail in 3 years. It was when they were going through an upgrade. It works just fine for anything I need it to do.
I have lots and lots of email adresses, but my favorite is myownemail. Not only is it reliable and stuff, but it gives you the choice of lots and lots of cute domain names. Like mine. hypergirl77@smileyface.com There aer lots of others. I love it.
Why did I just feel like an advertisement?
Dirty, dirty hypergirl…how dare you advertise like that?
When you do decide, maybe you could tell us which one you went with and why? No sense in keeping the debate open if you already found one you like. Maybe I’m the only person who sees the pointlessness in that.
