What's the best online movie rental?

I think it may be. My distribution center is Minneapolis, and if I mail a movie back on Friday, I get my next one on Tuesday. I’ve had Netflix since January, and there’s been two instances where my movies came a day later than I expected.

And once they lost a returned DVD. They don’t want you to report that for 6 days. When I did report it, they immediately shipped the next one in my queue, and two days later, they “found” the missing DVD. But I didn’t get any compensatory credit. I wonder how often this happens.

Did they charge you for the lost disc? My experience with them has been that if I report a disc as lost, they eat up the loss and I don’t have to pay anything. I presumed that bad things will start to happen only if I reported too many discs as missing.

No, because they “found” it two days later, or about 8 days after I shipped it.

Their policy for lost discs seems reasonable, except for the part about not reporting it for 6 days. Once I reported it, they immediately shipped me the next one in the queue, which meant I theoretically had 4 out at once on a 3-disc plan. I’m sure they have to be careful, and they warn you that too many lost discs will result in some unspecified action.
