Mods, feel free to move if you think this is in the wrong forum.

There is a particular website/forum that has all kinds of advice on how to get published/get an agent, etc. I used to have it bookmarked on my old computer but lost it and can’t remember it for the life of me. I came to it because it was mentioned here a number of times, but my searches aren’t giving me what I’m looking for (I just read through [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=626805) hoping to see it mentioned, but no dice). Can anybody help?

[AbsoluteWrite.com](http://www.absolutewrite.com)?

ETA: Oops. It’s not linked, but it’s mentioned in that other thread. Still the place to start.

Take a look at [Writer Beware](http://www.accrispin.blogspot.com/), too; “a publishing industry watchdog group sponsored by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America with additional support from the Mystery Writers of America.” You’ll find all kinds of advice and helpful information about scams.
