# What's the best song off of "Reveal"?

Honestly, I don’t even care about these next two albums. “Imitation of Life”, the big “hit”, is just a pale rewrite of “The Great Beyond”, musically, and that’s the way it goes for the rest of the album. I voted for “Beachball”, mostly for its _Pet Sounds_ vibe, though really it’s more of a **High Llamas** vibe than actual Beach Boys. We’re almost at the end. Anybody have opinions?

“I’ll Take the Rain” is pretty good once you get to the chorus. “She Just Wants To Be”, “All the Way To Reno”, and “Imitation of Life” won’t inspire me to skip to the next song. The rest of the album. . .meh.

I was okay-ish with the album when it came out, but it has _not_ improved with age.
