FWIW, I’m pretty sure you’re describing a [papasan chair](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papasan_chair).

People with no bank account. If your finances are fucked, it’s possible for you to have to deal entirely in cash. I know someone who as recently as the last time I talked to him (~a year ago) was still working entire in cash because of a big snafu at his previous bank that he’d have to get back up to where he used to live to resolve.

Yeah. He either should have given you a decent reward or nothing at all. A couple of dollars is just insulting.

You can’t leave it at that! More details, please!

I’ve found $20 exactly twice. This is slightly awkward when I’m telling the stories, as my group of friends sometimes uses “… and then I found $20” as a way to end an anecdote that isn’t going anywhere, we’ve forgotten the point of, we’ve suddenly realized is boring, etc.

Tosa! I’d ask what year you graduated, but since your profile lists kids-plural, you’re probably a few years older than me. (Plus, I can’t remember who I would have known who graduated from there–I was a Pius XI girl, myself.)

We do the same thing, except with $5 or ending with “…and then Steve shot a guy.”
