Correction: it’s THE roadside attraction, the oldest and still the best.
Especially as there are better Baha’i temples, like the coolest building in my home province:
That’s the Shrine of the Bab, in Haifa, Israel.

There’s also the Lotus Temple in New Delhi (also a Baha’i temple).
Obviously not in any of the United States.
Agreed. she’s amazing and just went through a good rehab.
I went there when I visited Israel. Yes, that is incredibly cool.
(I’ve also been to the Baha’i temple in Illinois.)

Duke Chapel is pretty cool too:
And the Grove Park Inn:
I, on the other hand, never went there when it was an arena but have been there three times since it was remade into a Bass Pro Shop. It’s really impressive.
Nassau Hall is very nice. But it’s not as cool as Lucy the Elephant. (Which gets bonus points for being in the middle of a residential neighborhood.)
The Cliff Palace in Colorado? No, Bishop Castle. Never underestimate a loony that refuses to adhere to building or safety codes.
Landsleit! I was born in Atlantic City, and I adored Lucy too.
