We live in the mountains in SoCal, it gets up to 114\* in the summer and we’re on a well. It’s a big house with big lawn areas and I have been resisting putting in sprinklers, mixing the soil and seeding or turfing…and watering, fertilizing and mowing for the rest of my life. I have seen some pretty cool artificial grass at malls in Arizona, but don’t really know how much it costs or how long it really lasts. I have done the Google thing and there is a dizzying array of choices, weights and colors. We will put it in ourselves, so I’m really looking for specifics on the material itself. I want something that’s visually good enough to fool someone walking by…no putting green or shiny green carpet stuff. Thanks.
