# What's the deal with black candles? Why can't I find them anywhere?

I noticed this as well – black candles are very hard to find. I figure it’s because of the symbolism imputed to them. Nevertheless, I was delighted two or three trips to IKEA ago to find a big box of their cheap tapers in black, so I snapped it up. That should hold me for a few years.
