Also, the reason chemical fertilizers burn is because they are made so that a plant can use it right away. Manure, compost, etc, has to go thru several chemical processes first, so they are slow.

But seriously, I’d sure hope they were DAMN certain that stuff was sterile. It just sounds like it’s asking for trouble to have a compounding feedback loop (for lack of a better term) to vector our various pathogens - especially considering how half-assed some people do their jobs, and the effect the profit motive can have when it comes to cutting corners.
