# What's the deal with the Redskins uniforms?

Were those 70th anniversary _throwback_ unis they wore in the preseason _only_ for the preseason? If so, then why even bother doing it?

With all due respect, imho, both of those uniforms are among the worst in the NFL. Although the throwback helmet wasn’t half bad.

I was under the impression that they would be wearing the throwback helmets for at least some of the regular season games.

My undergraduate alma mater, Central Michigan University, used to have the exact same helmets…burgundy shell with gold and white “spear and feathers” logo.

The throwback uniforms and helmets are the road uniform. They kept the regular uniforms for home games.
