# What's the deal with the Voynich Manuscript?

This article, from the Scientific American, describes a method by which the manuscript might have been written - it is, in all likelihood, a forgery, but a very rather good one.

The author speculates that Kelley (Dr. Dee’s “sidekick” and a known forger) may have been the author.
