I remember a TV report on the 2000 Presidential Election but very vaguely and more clearly the TV coverage of the Septermber 11th Attacks.

JFK assasination. Preempted cartoons, I was six.

The 1949 inauguration of Truman. We were the only people on the block with a tv. Everyone was invited–and came.

Watched the 1952-3 inaguration of Ike from the rooftop of the Evening Star Newspaper where my dad worked(in D.C.)

I remember the time zombies laid siege to the White House, disrupting coverage of the 2010 Olympic Games. Stupid zombies and their anti-sports agenda. It’s hardly our fault that they lack in speed and dexterity.
