# What's the earliest we might know the winner tomorrow?

I want to go and watch election coverage at the bar tomorrow and haven’t decided what time to go. Is there any chance we’d have a good indication of results by 10PMEST? Midnight? 2AM?

If Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado, and New Mexico all go for Obama, then he’ll probably go over the bar (270+ EV) on the last two. But if you see Ohio and Pennsylvania both go for Obama, it will be very difficult for McCain to win.
