I can’t think of anything she damaged. She did leave crayons that melted on our new car’s back seat, but that was something we lived with.

My kids have been really good, or maybe we’re just lucky. Of course, they are still small so we still have a log way to go.
On the other hand, the direct damage from my parents runs well over $40,000 in therapy alone.
The damage I’ve done to myself as a consequence of the emotional and mental illness including the divorce which was partially due to unresolved issues (and marrying someone like that in the first place); losing jobs; stupid things done when self-medicating and such is close to seven figures.
Pretty much anything the kids do will be pocket change.
