What is the “must have” toy this year? Years ago it was tickle-me-elmo and many years ago it was cabbag patch dolls. What’s this year? ---

I believe Chicken Dance Elmo is supposed to be hot. Otherwise, nothing’s really caught the country’s attention. ---

This is supposed to be a hot item too, at least in MN. Radio shack has a 2 page waiting list. ---

Oh, I didn’t mention that they only receive 6-12 a week in shipment! A lot of people I know are looking and can not find them anywhere. ---

Nah, it doesn’t happen every year. I haven’t heard of anything, and I have a two-year old, so I figure I would be likely to. Not that she would get whatever-it-was; no way am I standing in line for hours and fighting other people to get some random toy. ---

I think BeyBlades are all the rage in the 8 - 12 year old boy category. A BeyBlade is some sort of customizable, modular spinning top. We’ve got a few and my son and hubby can’t get enough of 'em. When we went to Target this weekend, they were out. WalMart only had two kinds. ---

Kids this year all want Kitchen Vixen Soaps, they just don’t know it yet. (All kidding aside, when I was at Toys ‘R’ Us getting my brother’s kids’ gifts the lady behind the counter told me the Karaoke machines were flying off the shelves. I told her “thanks, but I don’t hate my brother that much.”)
