# What's the latest dope on female "squirting?"

Need answer fast. š
Just kidding, but this has been the topic of conversation with many different folks lately. Now, let me lay down what I know to be fact about women āsquirtingā and you can correct me where Iām wrong:

[li]The liquid comes out of the urethra, not vagina.[/li][li]The liquid is slightly different than urine, but mostly urine.[/li][/ul]
Alright, thatās all I got. So, are women that āsquirtā just peeing on their partners? I mean, this is more or less what I have always assumed, which is why I am surprised that this seems to be the new kink of the day lately (more and more guys ask if I do than ever before, saying their fantasy is a woman who squirts-- I donāt, hence my questions).

Women sometimes lose control of their bladders when having intercourse and/or orgasms.
Since their is sexual activity going on, and the woman is aroused, their is some lubrication getting mixed in (but the event is ā essentially ā urination).
Itās urine.

I question the OPs āfactsā. How is it youāve come to these conclusions? Iāve heard quite a bit of dispute on those two premises specifically from people who ought to be in a position to know.

This is one of those odd medical āmysteriesā that seems incredibly solvable to me. Based on my Internet research, itās apparent that thereās no small number of women who are not only capable of squirting, but have no qualms about doing it for money in front of strangers. They canāt get a few of them together, have them squirt into specimen cups, and analyze the fluid to see whether itās urine? This isnāt cold fusion weāre talking aboutā¦

Oh, Straight Dope. . .never change.
I meant āfactsā as how I understand the situation to be. Pieces of information which I have been on the receiving end of in regards to this topic over the years from various places. Clearly, by " you can correct me where Iām wrong" and the whole other end of the OP, Iām asking for _actual_ information, not just the random things Iāve heard over the years.

You forget one key factor. Funding. Studies of any type cost money.
Most financiers of medical studies are, to put it mildly, conservative, hence shy away from such studies.
That said, what studies I DID see were inconclusive, some claiming there is no such thing, others claiming there is, but the fluid isnāt QUITE like urine.
Rather like the G-spot, some claim proof, others discount it.
From MY experience, itās not urine and the G-spot is real. š

It comes from the Skeneās glands, which are believed to be, IIRC, the female analog of the male prostate.
Itās not urine, it is a clear fluid. It doesnāt smell or taste anything like urine.
No cite atm, Iām at work and all the interesting sites are blocked (except this one, obviously). Someone google āskeneās glandsā and back me up, please?

**Well, hereās what Wikipedia has to say:**
āThe location of the Skeneās gland is the general area of the vulva, glands located on the anterior wall of the vagina around the lower end of the urethra. Some believe that the Skeneās glands are the source of female ejaculation.[2] In 2002, Emanuele Jannini of LāAquila University in Italy showed that there may be an explanation both for the phenomenon and for the frequent denials of its existence. Skeneās glands have highly variable anatomy, and in some extreme cases they appear to be absent entirely. If Skeneās glands are the cause of female ejaculation and G-Spot-orgasms, this may explain the absence in many women.[3][4]

Female prostate? Yuck. Why not call the male version the āmale Skeenās Glandā? Or just call both the male and female versions Skeenās Glands?

And just for the record, Iāve **been** in a āposition to knowā (More than once, actually.:D) and it certainly didnāt smell or look (I like to _do_ it with the lights on!;)) like urine. Just sayinā¦š

Iām guessing that the male version was identified and named first. Itās the same reason brontos are called apatosauruses now.

Iām willing to bet most of that is fake. The female ejaculation Iāve witnessed in person either A)Gushes out in one single splash of fluid or B)Spurts out in exact rhythm with the contractions of orgasm. Much of the porn Iāve seen involving āsquirtingā has the fluid zipping out in a thin stream very similar to urination.
Real female ejaculate is not urine. It in no way looks, smells, tastes, or feels like urine. (yes, āfeelsā. Even though itās liquid it has a unique texture, different from that of pee).
Iāve had a certain woman tell me that while G-spot orgasms are fantastic, they donāt hold a candle to uterine orgasms.
