What's the least expensive thing by mass?

Have you ever bought it at an office supply store? A bag of it weighs practically nothing and costs tens of dollars. It’s hard to find something in those stores that are more expensive, per pound.

I’m wondering if decomissioned ships and machinery may fit the bill. I’m sure there’s some stage of deterioration where it’s almost worthless, but not totally worthless?

Possibly… old ships are cut for scrap in India. I’d imagine they were bought on the cheap.

But, what about things with Negative worth? Stuff that is so undesirable that people will actually pay to have you take it?

Typically that isn’t so much “charging a negative amount of money for the thing” as it is paying for the service of having it hauled away.
