I’m not talking about when you didn’t have a boy/girl friend or spouse, or how long you went without masturbating. I mean, what’s the longest you ever went when you had a sex partner? And why did you go without? Fight? Period? Illness? ---

Six months, when I was still with my ex-boyfriend. We’d always had great sex, but in the last year of our relationship it tailed off until I could hardly bear to let him touch me. After six months of me sleeping on the edge of the bed and cringing if he so much as kissed me, I realised it was time to call it a day. I just didn’t love him anymore, and for me, if it ain’t going on emotionally, it ain’t going on physically either. ---

Probably about a week. My ex and I broke up several times and then got back together a few days later, so we went without sex during these times. Ironically, periods made her want to have sex more than usual. Don’t know if thats common. ---

The last two years of my marriage. Which I can’t believe now, looking back on it, because I’m the type of person who usually can’t go without for more than a day. But life with Mr. Hairtrigger just got to be less and less fun and sex just wasn’t worth the clean up afterward. Thank god I’m back to my normal, overly-horny self! 😃 ---

about two-three weeks, and that was during the last 6 months of my marriage. Very similar to **Jennyrosity’s** situation, but the fight when I wouldn’t put out was worse than the actual putting out. When I finally left him I had to re-learn liking sex. ---

Four weeks. Two before the kid was born, and two after. Tho the docs tell you to wait at least six weeks post-partum… and warn you to use condoms if you absolutely _must_… ---

Hell, we’ll have sex with folks we don’t like or in some cases aren’t even attracted to. 😉 I’d have to say **NEVER** …not ever! Since marriage: Excluding the normal excuses ie: too damned tired, or sick, out of town, etc. other than a day here or two there perhaps a few every once in a while in extraordinary cases (hospital stays) But for all practical purposes, I’d say… **never** 😃 ---

When I had a willing partner who wasn’t tired or sick or anything? She had time for sex and was up for it if I was? Seconds. Maybe. Otherwise about a week. ---

I _never_ heard it called that when I was growing up. I moved out to decadent California and I heard a guy use the term, which I thought refered to any unknown, greasy, possibly vile substance. It always cracked me when he said it. And when I had my first job that required me to think of a password that I would remember, that was all that popped into my head. And it’s been my ID for every system since. But it wasn’t till I got this board that I heard that it meant sperm. Go figure.
