When I flew from Hong Kong to SFO, I pretty much got all the wine I wanted. Wasn’t trying to get hammered, I was just hoping it would put me to sleep. It didn’t. I was pretty much wake the entire time and I was awake on the way home from the airport as well. Didn’t sleep until I got home, where it was quiet. Mid-day and it was beautiful weather out. Had to wake up and go to the office at like 8 p.m. that night so that I’d be ready for work the next day. It completely sucked. Didn’t adjust until about a week later. ---

Washington, DC to Beijing and back a couple of times. I think it was 12 or 12 1/2 hours. ---

LAX to London 11 1/2 hour coach class. But…it was for a bargain price and low season and pretty empty. It was a roomy 747 with a middle row of seats that I had all to myself, so I stretched out and made the most of it.
