I was sitting in my office trying to think of a user name and ripped a real good fart. I got up, left the office, came back in and it still lingered. I left again and it followed me. I said “Wow, that fart is omnipresent. I can’t get away from it.” There you have it. ---

What’s REALLY funny is, sometimes I get into a slightly heated discussion about this or that on SDMB and people take the stance of “Oh, Omnipresent is taking his name a little to literally and is holier-than-thou”. No. Nothing that deep. Just a really stinky fart. ---

Initials, pretty obviously. I thought it would be easier than thinking up a name. Didn’t not think it through - many people share my intials so I often find some clever old post on some board somewhere, and just as I’m patting myself on the back for being so wise … I realize that someone else made that post. ---

From a movie. _Time Bandits_ to be exact, and one of my all-time favorites. I figured anybody that got the reference was automatically cool in my book (and a big MP fan to boot). Horseflesh is the former leader of the time traveling group of misfit burglars in the movie. He (I always assumed it was a he) is only mentioned once in the movie: “Horseflesh wouldn’tve gotten us into this mess!”. “Horseflesh is DEAD!”. And there is a person credited as playing the character in the end credits. But nowhere does this character actually make an appearance. I always thought that very curious. So, I named myself after the leader of the most notorious band of pirates/burglars/robbers in history who has the good sense to never actually show up in person. Plus, it’s just not a very common word. A recent vanity search over the last year on this board brought up just one reference that wasn’t my username. It was about dog food. P.S. After buying the Criterion edition of Time Bandits I found out why my namesake was axed from the movie. With that character, the number of little people/dwarves in the group of burglars would have numbered seven, and there is a very well known fairy tale that also has seven dwarves. The director did not want to be mistook in trying to spoof that story. ---

The first part of mine is an ex’s nickname for me…my real name is Valerie and he used to call me" Vala lee lee lee lulu" and eventually shortened it to Lulu. And the last part is from my favorite country in the whole entire world. ---

Life is a drama… everything is so love/hate for me right now SO… Sanguine is my favorite color, I love it. Spider is a creature I despise with all my heart, I hate it. It seemed catchy to me at the time; a lil’ goth, a lil’ wicked, a lil’ exotic. Yes… goth. I won’t define the color for you, it’s easy enough to discover on your own (my hamsters demand food before working anyway). And really… the names we choose reflect stream-of-consciousness thought anyway, IMO. I’ve used this name a few times on various sites and always get the “what is sanguine?” or variation thereof, and I wanna make YOU, the reader, work for it (not that you have to). P.S. I love Will Ferrel! ---
