I have red hair, and have been referred to as “Ginger” for many years. However, Ginger was taken. I was living in the Northwest Territories in Canada at the time of registration, so there you have it. ---

My user name comes from “Love for Three Oranges” by Sergei Prokofiev. From this, you might infer that I am a big fan of Prokofiev and/or classical music. That wouldn’t be entirely accurate; the real story is that the day I became a Doper, one of my co-workers was listening to this piece (with which I had previously been unfamiliar) at his desk, and the title was stuck in my mind all that day. I apologize for not having a better story. ---

My real name is Imran and it simply doesn’t translate well in text (everyone wants to pronounce it “I’m Ran” or “Enron”). It’s pronounced Im (like, uhh, impediment) Ran (like, the Kurosawa movie…or the name ‘Ron’). My grandmother gave me a “secondary name” (not a middle name or anything like that). It was Shaun. Eventually, I americanized it and made it Shawn. My last name starts with a K, so I made a pen name out of it. Viola! – Shawn K. ---

my first names Paul. the berserker bit comes from when i was teaching a couple of years ago, and me and Warren, a mate of mine who also used to teach there used to go ‘berserker boozing’. its also to do with the song off of Clerks. it was also my e-mail address at the time i joined the sdmb. i tend to use attackships elsewhere on the web now, but it also tends to match my ‘fly off the handle at stupid things’ personality. cheers! ---

Mine is just my first name spelled backwards; I have a reddish beard, so I capitalized “Red” separately. (I’ve had at least one person on the Boards think that I’m female, probably because of the “la” ending.)
