Having to choose only ONE of the many disgusting body “conditions”. Which ONE do you find the MOST disgusting and gross to witness? Booger in someones nose. Someone picking their nose. Earwax hanging out… Gunk in someones eyes. White “gunk” around someones mouth. “Spit strings” in a persons mouth that is talking to you. Food in the teeth. Body stink Oily greasy hair etc… you get the idea… MY #1 would be Witnessing a booger lodged within someones nostril. ---

Gas gangrene, definitely! I walked into the room and the patient told me his leg was oozing. The smell nearly killed me, and at this point in my career, most smells don’t bother me at all. His lower leg was sloughing off, and his slipper was filled with greenish, bloody soup. I nearly got grossed out. In terms of comparison, this was 3 times as gross as the time that guy’s intestines blew up in the operating field (and my face) during bowel resection surgery. Remember, you did ask! 😉 ---

How about rectal fistula? I read about that in another post around here recently, and apparently, there is a hole in the wall between the vagina and the rectum, resulting in feces coming out of the vagina! :eek: ---

Usually easy to repair surgically, but a bit messy to tidy up if lots of stool has packed itself into the vagina for a long time. these types of fistulae can also communicate into the bladder, resulting in peeing stool, and a nasty bladder infection. They can also bypass the anus and communicate with the outside world directly, giving one two excretory orifi. ---
