A letter from the son or daughter of a woman I once had sex with. I KNOW I don’t have any kids, but I do have an ex-girlfriend who insisted I was the father, even though the kid was born full-term 5 months after our first date. (She was, uh, full bodied, so it didn’t show. She also said that her previous boyfriend had told her that he was sterile. Uh–huh.) ---

Am I missing the point? It seems that the obvious answer is a box containing a body part that identifiably belongs to someone I love. ---

I dunno, I don’t like the shock value of opening a mailbox and finding X. I think I would be most disturbed by opening a mailbox and finding either a) a map, or b) one end of a long bit of string. Following either would gradually lead into an unsavory part of town, a back alley, an abandoned mine, perhaps a ravine, or maybe even a brackish wetland where something REALLY unpleasant could be stored. What gets me about that kind of scenario is that it’s much more planned than some idiot putting something in your mailbox. You’d have to be a sick puppy to pull something like that. Just imagine the suspense, following it and not knowing where it goes… \<8)))\>\< ---

I reckon I’d be hard pushed except for maybe the face. That’d be the only bit though. ---
