Google tells me that 1 pound is 454 million micrograms, so at $1,000/microgram, I calculate $450 billion/pound, not $350 billion/pound. Where did I go wrong? ---

The inverse law of Divorce: The cheaper your wife was before you were married, the more expensive she will be when you split. Seriously though, whatā€™s the most expensive thing ā€œIā€ can buy (if I happen to have the money laying around that is)? My contribution is good old saffron. At $1,709.91 per oz. online for some good spanish stuff I would place it about $27,358.56 per pound. I suppose I could pick up some rhodium at $46,080 lb. if I looked hard enough for a supplier. Or some platnum at a measely $25,056 lb. from a metal broker. What else ya got? ---

Antimatter goes for about 28 quadrillion dollars a pound. Thatā€™s about 80 000 times more expensive than californium-252. ---
