This afternoon, I visited a friend who is temporarily in a nursing home. As I pulled out of the parking lot, I saw the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile parked in front of the hotel next door. 🆒 ---

Yesterday and today at RRVI (RR6, Rennsport Reunion 6), my first time at an RR, I was surrounded by Porsches of all kinds. At one point today I was in a paddock surrounded by about 10 959s. In another area about 24 914s were parked. 356 #1, Ferry Porsche’s very first, built in Gmünd, Kärnten, Austria was there. Mark Donohue’s 917-30. The 919 Evo that obliterated the Nordschleife record. Porsches and Porsches, and more Porsches. I stood next to Adam Carolla as he talked to this guy who owned a very old 1951 356. Yesterday at the 356 reunion we were among over 200 356s gathered, and the event was well coordinated. It was great. Laguna Seca is less than 2 hours from me. I anticipate going to more future RRs. ---

But I shot pics of a friends LVS 48/14 [Logistics Vehicle System - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logistics_Vehicle_System) 8X8, 450 hp turboed and blown 2 cycle Detroit Diesel. Will carry 50,000 and will pull 100,000 lbs. My Uncle Sam paid $360,000 apiece for them. ---

The most interesting car I saw was in my driveway on Friday night. A spanking new 2018 Ford Focus ST in Hot Pepper Red with a Cobb Stage 1 Exhaust and Intake sitting on a set of Enkei PDC wheels and Pirelli PZero tires. My Dear Subaru is now on the used car lot. I guess the Model 3 will have to wait a bit longer…😃 ---
