One of my neighbor’s friends or relatives drives a big old '92 (according to the personalized plates) Buick Estate Wagon, complete with fake wood paneling. I see it parked in front of their house from time to time, like today. Without looking it up I don’t know the last year they made those, but that must be one of the last old school full sized V8 powered rear wheel drive station wagons made in the US. ---

Headed into Harvard Square was an AWD right-hand drive Toyota Lite Ace camper van. Not sure which exact model, but it looks like a 2nd generation, so maybe 1990s? ---

Last night on my commute home I saw a VW Vanagon syncro double cab pickup, in desert tan. The bed was covered with what looked like a canvas tarp held up by wood bows, like military trucks have. I was on my motorcycle so was not able to get a picture but it looked pretty cool. Black Tesla Model S D-100, stunning vehicle. I was directly behind it on an onramp to the highway. It took off and was a mile ahead of me in about 6 seconds. I want one of these. ---

This morning I saw a gorgeous Jaguar E-Type. They say a car is a good design if it looks good in white. This car still looked quite beautiful even though it was painted white. ---

Saw two local cars I hadn’t seen in a while, parked next to each other. One was the 1948 Packard Deluxe and the other was the CommutaCar electric from the 1970s. Both haven’t moved since the last snow storm, apparently. ---

I was behind a Hyundai that I’d never seen before. The font made it look like it was an “ionia” electric car. I just googled and found it’s actually “ioniq.” ---

While out running errands today I passed what I’m pretty sure was an early 1950s Cadillac, although I only got a brief look at it as we were heading in opposite directions. Honorable mention goes to the Aston-Martin Vantage convertible I passed, and the Maserati Levante that was in the other lane at a red light. I hadn’t realized Maserati had gotten on the SUV/crossover bandwagon. ---

Last week on the way to the corner shop, a red first-generation Lancia Delta. I don’t think it was a particularly special rally version although the owner had fitted a spoiler on the top edge of the hatchback anyway, and it was in nice condition. In the other direction, it passed a dark green TVR Chimaera turning into the Kwik-fit tyre shop that’s there. ---
