There have been 11 generations of the Honda Civic since it was first produced for 1972. This 3-door hatchback is a second generation, and it appears to be a 1980. It’s pretty clean. I spotted a Toyota Hiace Super Custom minivan from what appears to be about 1994. It has a distinctive wrap-around sunroof in the rear and I also noticed drapes. A bright yellow Porsche 930 turbo… or maybe not. It might look like one but this is not a 930 turbo. The bright yellow caught my eye, but this is actually a 912 conversion. Yes, 912. I talked to the mechanic at the shop and he said it’s a poor conversion at that. And it doesn’t run well either. All show, no go. All hat, no cattle. . Side view of the rear half looked like a '57 Chevy but was not. It had even more pronounced taller fins. On its trunk was a gold color wide, shallow, V. That’s all I’ve got as it turned a corner. Any thoughts? ---

I mentioned upthread that I had never seen a Rivian but I now know what they look like. Today I had to drive into Cambridge, near Harvard SQ and I spotted one taking a turn while I was walking nearby. I then drove to the supermarket, pulled into a spot, directly face on to a 2nd Rivian. It’s pretty blocky, but not necessarily in a bad way. The headlights take a bit getting used to. And the bed appears pretty short. Other than that I liked it. ---
