Lamborghini Urus, same bright green as in the photo. The one I saw was more sparkly in the sun but that might be one of the $10-20K capsule upgrades… Nice looking and I’m sure it’s fast but it just doesn’t look like a quarter million bucks. I saw a new Ford Maverick in traffic today. I’m pretty sure it’s the first one I’ve seen in the wild. Then I saw an Isuzu Ascender ahead of me in the In-N-Out drive-thru line. I’m sure it’s just a badge engineered GM SUV of some sort, I think all of Isuzu’s models were at the end before they left the US market entirely. But the Isuzu badged versions are fairly rare compared to the Chevy/GMC badged ones. ---

This may not count as super interesting, but it was the most interesting car I saw yesterday. It was a Tesla Model X. What made it interesting (to me) is that I had no idea they had gull wing (rear) doors. I was helping her out with some boxes and it was really nice not having to lean around a door to set some heavy boxes on the back seat. Even more interesting, again, to me, is that Tesla’s gull wing doors can be opened, and allow you to enter/exit, in tighter spots that traditional doors would allow. Seems like a lot of potential points of failure, but still neat. I’m not big into muscle cars. Google Lens tells me this is a 2021 Dodge Challenger, but what struck me were the tires with sidewalls painted “Plymouth Hemi Cuda.” I’m guessing this and the paint job are mimicking an earlier car? Perhaps a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda?
