In 1983, when I was 16 years old, I helped my stepfather build a kit car on a Ford Pinto chassis. It’s called a “Gazelle,” and it’s a replica of an old Mercedes (1929, I think?). He died a few months ago, and my mother just gave it to me. The car is still at my Mom’s house. I have never driven it. I need to drive it back to my house soon and do some routine maintenance on it (change oil, etc.). My Mom mentioned the brakes might be bad, so I may end up replacing them, too. It has 4700 miles on it. Check out this new Airstream Basecamp X trailer. I spotted this the other night. It can come with a 3” lift kit for added ground clearance. I’m not sure I like the styling — it might need to grow on me. And it may never grow on me. The trailer has a lot of windows, which I like. The tow mule is, I think, a 2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 63 S with the biturbo V8. Overall this is a nice setup. This is certainly not your father’s Airstream trailer. I went to an auto show and saw a [Friskysport](https://www.oldcarsweekly.com/.image/c_limit%2Ccs_srgb%2Cq_auto:good%2Cw_700/MTgyMjYyNzgyOTI0Njk0NjU5/img_2582.webp). I’d never even heard of them before. They came in 3 wheel and 4 wheel versions and were to compete against the BMW Isetta. ---

A newish Toyota Camry, with a two tone paint job (or wrap, possibly). The bottom part was a silver-gray, and the top black. At first glance the black top made it look like a convertible. ---

I saw an absolutely pristine, no shit, 1984 SVO Mustang. I could tell immediately by the unique wheel covers and it was confirmed by the engine under the hood. Those were never popular and they were very expensive for the time so survivors are very rare. I should have gotten pictures. ---

Nor would I have expected it, since it was a Mitsubishi transmission. I had no idea it was used in any home-grown Chrysler vehicles.
