18+ feet of 3rd generation Cadillac deVille convertible, maybe a 1968, with an appropriate parking sign. The VW Beetle and the Porsche 356 share a common heritage. And racing fuel is $10 a gallon — ouch. Ferdinand Porsche created the VW Type 1. It would be called the Beetle or Bug many years later (and the Type 2 is the van, the Type 3 is the wagon/fastback). The old Porsche attracts the beautiful ladies. And $40 for 4 gallons of racing fuel is painful. . [[Album] The VW Beetle and the Porsche 356 share a common heritage. This tricked-out pickup. I was grabbing this shot when the engine started. I looked closely though the heavily tinted windows and there was _no one inside!_ I was getting a weird _Christine_ vibe when the owner walked up from behind me and got in.
