I took a closer look at some online images, and I think it had to be a Nova based on the placement of the “SS” badge on the rear end. ---

As I was walking in from putting things in the Prius, which is parked on the street, a Canadian guy came up the hill in an immaculate 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. He stopped and said, ‘Since you wouldn’t sell me your MGB, I had to buy this.’ Not sure when or where I met him. ---

I did some digging and it means, I kid you not, Wrap Your Ass In FiberGlass. Which, in the context of Corvette ownership, makes sense. Still pretty stupid, but it’s not on my car so different strokes, as they say. ---

The Benelli TRK 502X adventure tourer — the big (in its stance, if not engine displacement) dual sport from Italy. Benelli comes from Pesaro, Marche, Italy, yet another motor company from Italy’s Emilia-Romagna motor region. Originally founded in 1911 in Pesaro, Benelli produced their first motorcycle in 1921 and is the second oldest Italian motorcycle company still in business (Moto Guzzi, established in 1921, is the oldest motorcycle factory in non-stop operation). The original six Benelli brothers were Giuseppe, Giovanni, Francesco, Filippo, Domenico and Antonio (“Tonino”). The Benelli TRK dual-sports were introduced in 2017, and this TRK 502X is a side-by-side twin with 4 valves per cylinder. In 2020, 2021, and 2022 the Benelli TRK was the best-selling motorcycle on the Italian market. The Benelli TRK 502X just might be the best value motorcycle in the lite ADV-touring sector available today.
